Passion and pride

After a decade working at senior and board level in a some of the largest independent web agencies in the UK, Treeline's founders decided to bring their skills and passion together, have fun and make great websites.

This meant turning our back on an enviable list of big name clients like Kodak, Lever Fabergé, Apple and Intel, but we took with us valuable experience of how to develop highly creative, multi-lingual websites to fixed budgets, on-time and to maximise return on investment.

We chose to focus on a sector that faced challenges but excited us, and we started developing sites that got results for charities and not-for-profits.

Taking some clients with us, and quickly building up a portfolio of new clients,Treeline has paved the way in the charity sector with exciting websites, engaging campaigns and more than a bit of online innovation.

We've also developed a raft of tools that make even the most complex sites manageable and within the grasp of the smallest client.

The projects that kick started the change of direction were campaigns for ActionAid, Amnesty International and WWF International. Today over 50% of our business comes from overseas.

Throughout this site you'll find blogs with the practical advice we give all our clients. But every client is different. If you have a question, feel free to ask.

Phil Redclift

Head of Technology

Phil leads the design & development team on all projects.

Phil made the move to programming in 1997. His first programming exposure of note was working in-house for what was then one of the largest and most-successful dating websites at their offices in the UK and for 5 months in San Diego.

Phil switched to agency work in 2006 and joined Treeline in 2007 where he has risen through the ranks of developers to become the lead on all things technical.

We rely heavily on his in-depth knowledge and technical expertise as well as his practical and hands on approach to problem solving.
